Rome Call of Ethics

The Rome Call for AI Ethics (https://www.romecall.org/) is a document promoted by the Pontifical Academy for Life and the RenAIssance Foundation (created by Pope Francis) that advocates for an ethical approach to artificial intelligence. First signed on February 28, 2020, by Microsoft, IBM, FAO, and the Italian Ministry of Innovation, it aims to foster global responsibility across sectors to ensure AI respects human dignity and the planet. Signatories commit to principles of transparency, inclusion, accountability, impartiality, reliability, security, and privacy, forming the foundation of a new ethical framework called algorethics.
